My professional music career spanned over 40 years. For 18 years I served as The Principal Trumpet of the New Jersey Symphony (1983 - 2000). My experiences with the N.J.S.O. were profound as I lived my dream with world class musicians making music on a daily basis. I was able to perform with numerous superstars over the years and some of my favorite artist of all time. Notably, Luciano Pavarotti and John Denver. Two musicians who inspired me in my youth and whose musicianship I still admire. After my tenure with the Symphony, I moved to back home to my roots of Virginia Beach, where I Teach at Virginia Wesleyan University and Music and Arts. As I look back I cherish my profession as it enabled me to enjoy my hobbies and pursue a well balanced life doing what I love.
